Trust Wallet Adds Support For BCH, LTC, And BTC

Top crypto exchange Binance’s Trust Wallet has added support for three well-known digital currencies- Litecoin, Bitcoin, and Bitcoin Cash.

Binance’s official Ethereum wallet, the Trust Wallet, provides users with a safe haven to store their ERC-20 based coins. And now it does not get any better, as Trust Wallet has just announced that their wallet supports cryptocurrencies BTC, LTC, and BCH.

Through their official blog and Twitter account, Trust Wallet’s team announced that the wallet will now be supporting the top cryptocurrencies.

While Bitcoin is the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, Bitcoin Cash ranks at number 4, closely followed by Litecoin at rank 6.

Trust Wallet had sounded the potential addition of these cryptocurrencies a few months back when support for TRON was added on the Ethereum Wallet. The crypto community had their eyes hooked ever since, and while it took a couple of months for the Trust Wallet team to deliver on their promise, the crypto community can only regale now.

The team highlighted in their announcement,

“The long wait for our Android users is finally over. Starting today, Bitcoin BTC joins our family of supported coins on both iOS and Android. To make up for the long wait, our engineers cooked up something extra to make it even more exciting: Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) for all our users. Yes, you heard right, that’s 3 new coins for the price of 1!”

The development team of Trust Wallet has made the Litecoin and Bitcoin wallets compatible with SegWit. It facilitates the transfer of money between users from any ltc1 and bc1 bech address.

Now that it supports more than 10 cryptocurrencies, Trust Wallet has gradually become more than just a simple ERC-20 wallet. The Trust Wallet team claims that theirs is the only mobile wallet to support POA, Ethereum Classic, and Dapp for Ethereum.
