Binance CEO Threatens To Delist BSV After Craig Wright’s Threatening Letter to Bitcoiner Hodlonaut

By Prashant Jha

Craig Wright has started another storm in the crypto space after sending a threatening letter to Bitcoiner Hodlonaut who has called him a fraud and tried starting a Twitter campaign against him. The letter threatens the bitcoiner with a liable lawsuit if he fails to retract his statements and apologize publically.

However, as soon as the news got picked up by the Bitcoin Magazine, Hodlonaut saw support and solidarity pouring in from all corners. The biggest boost came from the CEO binance, who called out Wright for his dubious claims of being Satoshi in the past and affirmed that Craig is not the creator of Bitcoin.

CZ Binance did not just stop at that, he even went onto threatening Wright with the delisting of his BSV token. BSV blockchain is headed by Craig Wright and has deep ties with the Binance Crypto exchange.

How It All Begun?

Craig Wright has earned the pseudo name of Faketoshi due to his multiple attempts to portray himself as the Satoshi Nakamoto, only to be debunked every time. Wright has made himself a laughing stock for the same reason and does not really share much of a cordial relationship with others.

However, Hodlonaut who is best known for starting the Lightning network trust chain took trolling to another level, where he not only called Craig a fraud but also planned to start a twitter hashtag #CraigWrightIsFraud and planned a whole week of shaming and defaming Craig.

In response to his Twitter trolling, Craig’s attorney sent a threatening letter to the Bitcoiner asking him to retreat his statements and publically apologize or otherwise face a liable lawsuit. The attorney believes Craig is definitely the original creator of Bitcoin, and his statement read,

“[Craig Wright] has not fraudulently claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto. He is Satoshi Nakamoto. He produced the report Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System in October 2008, sent the first Bitcoin to Hal Finney in January 2009 and played an integral part in the development of Bitcoin. He has explained his role in detail on previous occasions”
