Today, Coinbase announced the launch of Coinbase Custody International, Ltd. which will be based in Dublin, Ireland. This new entity will provide you with same industry-leading cryptocurrency asset storage that has made it the world’s leading and most trusted cryptocurrency custodian. All staking activity performed by Coinbase, in addition to offering institutional custody services, will transition to Coinbase Custody International.

The Coinbase Custody International’s aimed at offering the widest virtual asset coverage of any institutional-grade custodian. Where Coinbase Custody has served European-based clients in the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and more since 2018, their dedicated approach in Europe will allow them to provide these services in a completely localized way, with local staff, localized SLAs as well as in compliance with local laws.
