6th Feb ‘20,Wednesday the price of bitcoin swept past the $9600 marker for the first time since last thursday (Jan 30th ‘19).

According to the data from BTC Wires , at 00:08 IST, the Bitcoin price surged above the point of $9600 ($9633.83), this is the first time it happened this month, at about 00:29 the price had passed $9685.01.

The current market cap of Bitcoin is around $173.8 billion. This year , so far, Bitcoin is up 32.83% against USD.

Many senior analysts have predicted that Bitcoin could reach $10K by the end of today (February 6).

The altcoins are also doing very well today, with all crypto assets in the top 20 in the green; of these, the three biggest gainers are Bitcoin Cash (+14.53%), Bitcoin SV (+12.56%), and Dash (+11.32%).In the very beginning of the year itself, the world of cryptocurrency had made a very strong statement that it is not going to be a boring year. Bitcoin’s price reached upwards of $9,600 today, shattering the critical resistance at $9,400 on the way.

As seen on the above chart, the last time the price was this high was back in October 2019. At the time of this writing, the price retraced back to about $9,686, which is still an increase of more than 5% on the day.

As Cryptopotato previously , Bitcoin had recently charted the mini Golden cross as the 50-day moving average crossed above the 100-days moving average. Amid this notable increase, the next target for Bitcoin might just as well be $10,000. However, it is also essential to see how the price performs at around $9,550 and whether or not this level manages to become a support.
