Blockport Moves out of Beta, Announces Promotion

Blockport, the Amsterdam-based European digital currency exchange has announced today that it is moving out of the beta version. Blockport was intially released in August 2018.

As per its official website, Blockport claims to be the easiest way to trade in cryptocurrency. The company’s roadmap states that Blockport’s uniqueness lies in the fact that the digital currency exchange provides the security of a decentralized system whilst at the same time maintaining the ease of use, speed, and efficiency offered by a centralized platform.

Blockport allows trading in some of the world’s top crypto coins. The funds of the users are also stored on the Blockchain.

Blockport has further stated that it will be available for integration with the Dutch mobile banking application called Bunq. The reason behind this move is to enhance user experience. Integration with Bunq will facilitate the deposit of fiat currency to user’s exchange accounts.

The Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Blockport, Sebsatiaan Lichter, was jubilant on the exchange’s move out of the beta. He highlighted the team’s hard work towards achieving this milestone. Lichter said,

“Over the past several months, our team has worked incredibly hard to get the product to where it is today, and the feedback we’ve received from our community thus far has been overwhelmingly positive.”

To celebrate its full launch, Blockport has released a promotional rewards program which allows new and existing users to earn Blockport Tokens (BPT) worth 10 Euro.

To avail the offer, new users are required to sign up for a Blockport account and makes trades on the exchange worth at least 100 EUR. The BPT Token is the utility token in the Blockport ecosystem.

For existing users, the process of availing the promotional reward of 10 EUR worth of BPT is simple. All they have to do is bring new users to the exchange through Blockport’s referral program.
