Bitmain Announces Sales on New S19
After an announcement made about the upcoming release of the Antminer S19 series, the crypto mining hardware is on sale at last. At present, Bitmain made a statement that we are living in a next-generation mining equipment which is domestically on sale with international sales to follow soon.
The trending thing about Antminer S 19 series is it has the power to potentially make all previous models obsolete. The Pro edition offers a hashrate of up to 110 TH/s in comparison to the Antminer S19 at 14 TH/s. It also beats out the S 17 model. It reaches 55 TH/s.
The Antminer is recognized as the future of mining as it is the newest model in the ASIC lineup, the Antminer S 19 Series has two different variants. There’s the 95 TH/s and 90 Th/s model. Moreover, it has an efficiency of 34.5 ±%5 J/TH, and the AntminerS19 Pro available in a 110 TH/s and 105 TH/s model, with the efficiency of 29.5±%5 J/TH.
As Bitcoin is halving on the horizon, in the end of February, Bitmain estimated that February was the perfect time to invest. It is believed that miners have to witness crucial situations for a smaller reward. Hence, they believe that great power and energy efficiency at a time becomes really important to follow. Moreover, since the rigs hold a far higher hashrate, fewer are needed to mine a single bitcoin.
Furthermore, BTC price is below the break-even line for some. Understanding the situation of the market, at present, we would probably see most of the miners capitulating from the network. This concludes only the larger players will look forward to investing in expensive crypto mining equipment. Although, Bitmain is on the verge to release the standard price of the S19 series.
The specs are still existing but the shipping date and price seems completely different TBD. After a disastrous year, in 2020 we might experience some advancements in Bitcoin mining operations, including the mighty Bitmain.
