$1,000 Worth of Bitcoin Hidden in Paris Street Mural Painting

The Yellow Vest protest in Paris has got a Bitcoin connection, a street mural painting with contemporary meaning has a hidden Bitcoin address, worth 0.26 BTC. The said amount would fetch anyone a $1,000 who can solve the puzzle.

The artist, Pascal Boyart who has painted the street mural, claims that he has inserted a puzzle beneath his brush strokes, and anyone able to solve it, would have the access to the Bitcoin address, 1NqPwPp7hEXZ3Atj77Ue11xAEMmXqAXwrQ storing the said amount. No one has claimed of solving the puzzle at the press time.

Although the image of the mural can be viewed online, it’s impossible to solve the puzzle by simply looking at the online photo. Of Course, if you are clever enough, you can get a fair idea, however, in order to solve the puzzle completely, you need to see the painting live.

The image itself is a modern reinterpretation of the famous Eugène Delacroix painting, Liberty Leading the People (La Liberté Guidant le Peuple in French), painted in 1830 during the French Revolution which toppled France’s monarchy.

So, how does Bitcoin solve the problem? The problem is not just the increase in taxes, but the monopoly of higher authority to impose any burden they wish. With Bitcoin, the need of banking system would be next to negligible and people can take control of their own money. With enough people realizing the impact & importance of blockchain and Bitcoin, these centralized form of governance would be toppled as there would be no money or taxes to fall back on.
