uTorrent Web crosses over 1 million active users; Tron’s CEO Justin Sun Celebrates

The recently acquired uTorrent, a client of BitTorrent by the Tron Foundation, after the successful launch of their new web-based portal of uTorrent which allows the quick download have another victory to celebrate. The new product uTorrent Web crosses over 1 million active users, and the CEO of the Tron Foundation is pleased with this achievement.

A new video released on the Tron Foundation official YouTube channel communicated about all the recent updates and developments in the TRX ecosystem. The CEO of the Tron Foundation, Justin Sun, shared the achievement of their new product uTorrent Web. He mentioned that the number of transaction and adoption and the active users have grown significantly and is comparable to other leading cryptocurrencies.

In a community gathering, Justin Sun shared with the attendees that the total number of accounts of Tron is 13 times higher than that of the 2nd largest cryptocurrency in the world Ethereum. He also mentioned the number of single day transaction and the volume is 49 times higher than that of the ETH and the average daily transaction volume is 29 times higher than that of Ethereum. Comparing Tron to EOS, he stated that the total number of accounts is 20% more than that of EOS.

The recently released YouTube video gave a hint about the updates in the upcoming days. 8th October is set to release an update of all the SRs [Super Representatives] to a newer version, i.e., 3.1.1. And also the TVM [Tron Virtual Machine] will be officially activated that day. In regards to the coin burn, he stated that 5th batch of coin burn is finished and 98.01% of ERC20 token have been burned along with the previous coin-burns.

The Tron Foundation teaming up with BitTorrent earlier this year is determined to grow the strength of the organization together. Sun believes that both Tron and BitTorrent will see a better tomorrow since several members have joined them and this factor will prove to be a massive contributor.

Tron was listed by the number of exchanges such as Bittrex [TRX/USD], BitBay, Binance [TRX/BNB] and Bithumb, who recently completed the TRX migration. Abra, KuCoin, Exodus, Cobinhood, Bibox and many other exchanges are trading TRX.
