New Probable Candidate To Be Satoshi Nakamoto, Claims Jeff Garzik

The true identity of the creator of bitcoin had baffled the crypto worlds, since forever and the search for this elusive person or persons who go by the name Satoshi Nakamoto has been a continuous and taxing one for the community. Even though there have been some guesses as to who it might be the community is nowhere close to knowing who the real person is.

Nick Szabo, the computer scientist and legal scholar responsible for the development of Bit Gold, has been one of the frontrunning candidates as even Satoshi Nakamoto had noted about it in a forum.

Dr Craig Wright, the computer scientist and businessman from Australia had also claimed to be on the team behind the formation of Bitcoins and he is also on the list as a probable candidate to be Satoshi Nakamoto as, he  in 2016 publicly declared himself to be Nakamoto, in spite of not having any substantial evidence to prove his claim. An anonymous email to Gizmodo in 2015, suggested that Wright indeed was related. This was however followed by a raid, which officials later called “unrelated.”

Now in a new turn of events, a new candidate had been suggested by Jeff Garzik, the lead developer of BitPay and a regular contributor to bitcoins. He, in a conversation with Bloomberg, elaborated about his theory that the late Dave Kleinman, a computer forensics expert, and a former police officer of Florida was the real Satoshi Nakamoto. He said,

“It matches his coding style, this gentleman was self taught. And the Bitcoin coder was someone who was very, very smart, but not a classically trained software engineer.”

However, ironic as it is, Kleinman’s estate is now going through a lawsuit with Dr Craig Wright, over the rights of 550,000 BTC and intellectual property rights, where the claim states the Wright while working with Kleinman, had appropriated  the things as mentioned earlier.

Ironically Klieman’s estate is currently undergoing a lawsuit with non-other than Dr. Craig Wright over the rights to 550,000 BTC as well as intellectual property; the claim states that wright approriated the aforementioned when working with Kleiman. Wright had also stated that Kleinman had helped with the creation of bitcoins but did not claim to be the creator himself until after Kleinman’s death, thus leaving no way of corroborating the claim.
