AVA Launches First University worth $50K
AVA, a next-generation blockchain platform has recently released its first University Hackathon, AVALaunch. The launch of this University was worth $50K USD in especially for the students developing innovative applications and doing something beyond which is related to technology. This is intended to support students who are bringing out their talents and creating innovative tech machines.
Being a part of the hackathon, participants are focused on developing new applications for financial products and services, build infrastructure tools that could be a portal for millions of people to access the network, or dive deep into detecting errors and fixing them back with innovative solutions. AVA is also offering summer internships to participants behind the best projects for more enhancement of talent and providing them with the correct track.
Emin Gun Sirer, CEO of AVA Labs states that the best-open source projects are defined by the developer community, and we hope the next generation of entrepreneurs and engineers will accept their invitation to explore and build technologies that will be foundational to the future of finance.
The AVA platform is focused to expand DeFi into the broader scope of Open Finance by providing an extensive toolkit for asset issuers. An engine powerful enough to sustain global, real-time settlement demands. It has comparable speeds to leading centralized payment processing companies, support for both public and private smart contract-enabled networks that interoperate, higher security thresholds than other leading blockchain projects.
A year after the launch of AVA unveiled its first public testnet to maximize network participation and expand the community of developers trailing key functionalities ahead of its expected mainnet launch this summer.
John Wu, President of AVA Labs states that this hackathon is the first to arrive as part of our AVA-X program of education, engagement, grants designed to fuel and foster moonshot on the AVA platform. It has taken a lot of work getting to this point, the real fun starts as developers across the world can dive into the code and create real projects on their own.
Industries such as supply chain, payments, tokenization, digital identity, Internet of Things are interested in AVA as a flexible DLT platform that allows either unique demands.
