Pundi X’s XWallet Can Now Be Integrated into Samsung Galaxy S10

Samsung, the world-famous smartphone and other electronic devices manufacturer, has tied up with crypto payments start-up Pundi X, with the collaboration resulting in the integration of Pundi X’s XWallet app to their Samsung Blockchain Wallet. Users can choose to add this feature to heighten their crypto trading experience using a Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone.

A blog post published by Pundi X on the 29th of July, gives us details about the new development. It tells us that the firm’s crypto wallet solution has successfully been integrated into the blockchain ecosystem of the Korean smartphone major Samsung. This reflects the rising adoption of blockchain and increasing interest in crypto usage.

The blog post announcing this development details:

“Samsung Galaxy S10 users can move cryptocurrencies stored in the Samsung Blockchain Wallet into the XWallet, which they can then use as a checking account for instant crypto transaction with Pundi X’s global payment ecosystem.”

As of now, the XWallet supports several crypto assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), KuKoin Shares (KCS), NEM (XEM), KNC, Qtum (QTUM). It also supports NPXS and NPXSXEM, which are tokens native to Pundi X.

With the help of this app, users will be able to move cryptocurrencies held in their Samsung Blockchain Wallet into the newly integrated XWallet, which is usually also found with blockchain point-of-sale device XPOS, which has been deployed across a total of twenty five countries so far.

Earlier, talking about Samsung’s commitment towards supporting crypto wallet options, a Samsung official had commented that:

“We will lower barriers to new experiences by gradually expanding the number of Galaxy models that support blockchain functions. We will also expand our service target countries after Korea, the United States and Canada.”

This is a significant development, marking a way to reach out to mainstream smartphone users and get them to start using crypto with greater convenience and ease.
