E-gaming is one of the most exhilarating real-life like experiences in the day-to-day life of a person. PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) is undoubtedly the best multiplayer online games of recent times. It has more than 100+ million downloads alone on Android phones.

Fortnight, the South Korean developing team has entered into a collaboration with US-based Refereum cryptocurrency start-up in a gaming incentive program. Players will now be rewarded with Refereum tokens for completing milestones in the game and also streaming through Refereum’s channel on Twitch and Mixer.

“PUBG has granted Refereum special access to the PUBG login system, and we’ve tightly integrated our quest technology into the game through access to their production API,”

The price of RFR tokens at press time on 25th July 2019 is $0.001625. The firm plans to give away $5000 through the program.

If anyone earns enough to vault to the top by the end of the campaign, he/she will receive some fantastic rewards like the keys for in-game content. This is a rather small break-through in terms of monetary value. However, Blockchain gaming and NFT-tokens are one of the most robust platforms to revolutionise online gaming. The integration of cryptocurrencies in one of the largest online multiplayer is the indicator of that.

Refereum tokens (RFR) are available for transaction on various popular cryptocurrency exchanges like Bittrex and Okex. The token is ranked 387th on CoinMarketCap.

Refereum is one such platform that aims to monetise the passion for gaming. It allows players to earn rewards in RFR tokens by achieving milestones and generates value by streaming excellent gameplay online.
