French Company Ledger Appoints a New CEO

Ledger, the French hardware crypto wallet producer has appointed a new CEO quite recently. President of the company, Pascal Gauthier, has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of the company. A press release made public by the company on 24th April, disclosed this news.

The company also announced in the press release, that Eric Larchevêque, former CEO, will now serve as Executive Chairman of the Board. Both Eric and Pascal penned down a letter each in the press release, adressed to the viewers. Eric said in his:

“I have therefore decided, with the support of the Board, to move to a new role as Executive Chairman. In this role I’ll be able to properly focus on strategy and vision, while also overseeing regulator and government outreach, partnerships, customers, broader business relationships and technology thought leadership. I’ll continue to interact with the crypto and consumer communities, and help Ledger to fulfill its mission of securing all types of critical digital assets.”

Pascal is privileged to have been considered for the position of the CEO. He said in his letter:

“As the crypto industry grows, evolves and matures, so must our company. This is why I’m truly honored to become the CEO of Ledger.”

Gauthier was initially a seed investor and board member, who was made the president of Ledger,when he joined the company. It’s exciting for the user base to see, what Gauthier can achieve in his new role as the CEO of the company. With the market constantly changing, the company needs to keep up with the trends.
