An Ethereum blockchain-based software development kit (SDK) has been launched by Samsung, for partner developers, according to The Block.

The kit has been launched for developers who wish to build apps, and it contains a “full set of function” for developers to build decentralized applications (dApps). Samsung said:

“Samsung Blockchain SDK is available to communicate with external blockchain node providing payment solution. It can reduce costs to build your dapp except in case if you have your own wallet logics already. “

The kit also offers a payment gateway for cryptocurrency remittance with its user interface, which sets it apart from other SDKs of the same nature.

For now, only a few models of Samsung are supported by the SDK. They include the S10e, S10, S10+, S10 5G and the Galaxy Fold. The official version of the SDK will hit the market at the end of this year.

It’s been quite interesting to note Samsung’s trajectory in the field of blockchain, as they have been making great progress in the market with their products. We look forward to more such products from the South Korean tech giant in the future.
