An extended bearish phase is what the cryptocurrency market has been going through for quite some time now. As a result of this, they also see a tremendous plunge in prices. While most of them are trying to recover, a new listing released by the Center for Information and Industry Development (CCID), throws a different kind of light on the entire issue. The tenth update of the crypto project ranking was released by the CCID, which comes under the purview of China’a Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that this is the second update of 2019, which comes with the evaluation of 35 crypto projects, with Tron being the only coin to be added since the last evaluation. As per the rating, EOS occupies the first position, which has pushed Ethereum to the third. Bitcoin which during the penultimate update was ta the 15th position is currently at 13th, which is an improvement. Bitcoin Cash [BCH] has also climbed one step from 28th to 27th since the previous evaluation.

The publication has described Tron as “low-level public chain with high throughput, high expansion, and high reliability,” which according to them is perfectly “compatible with the Ethereum smart contract”. They have also claimed that “chain transactions are more active,” and that Tron now has more than 200 Dapps. According to the ratings, the total evaluation of Tron is 145.6, which is the second highest.

The CCID also elaborated that the evaluation of the coins had been conducted on the basis of three major factors – basic technology, applicability, and creativity. The report noted that projects that have shown the most improvements are Nano, Verge, and Qtum.

While the top-five public chains for basic technology category are EOS, Tron, Bitshares, Gxchain, and Nano, the top-five projects in the applicability category are Ethereum, NEO, Nebulas, Tron, and Ontology. The former category evaluates the technical realization level of the public chain and examines its function, performance, safety, and decentralization while the latter assesses the level of support for practical applications, including node deployment, wallet applications, development support, and application implementations.
